Wishing For A Newer Leaf In Animal Crossing On The Nintendo Switch 2

How can the next Animal Crossing game top Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch, despite how some players prefer New Leaf and New Leaf - Welcome amiibo on the 3DS [90] [91]? We have covered quite a lot of what features from previous titles could return and some brand new ones that can make the next game outstanding [90] [91] [92] [93], but I believe that there is a little more to discuss with my fellow animal crossers, including those who miss the simpler times of playing Wild World before the next Nintendo Direct airs, being centred on the full potential of the Nintendo Switch 2 [42] [46] [84]. At first, I thought the next game might be better off as a spin-off based on the minigame Animal Island from the first generation with notable features from New Horizons: Happy Home Paradise, such as Poki instead of Bells rather than a direct sequel to New Horizons due to the Switch 2’s backwards compatibility and a data transfer similar to the way to store Wii system memory onto a Wii U would be desired [44] [55] [57] [58] [70], but reflecting on how Wild World can be played on a 3DS aside from the renovation of New Leaf and New Leaf - Welcome amiibo [92] [93], I believe that a new main game and several other outstanding games from other franchises would help the Switch 2 sell excellently [55]. Furthermore, let us keep dreaming of that next big step.
It has been a week since the previous expansion on what can we expect in the next Animal Crossing game for the Switch 2, including a hotel where you can meet former residents and the return of the red carp from Dòngwù Sēnlín that was elaborated on the day after the launch of a new Hazbin Hotel plushie collection from YouTooz [24] [92] [93] [100] [101]. And yes, I still have the right to consider Vivienne Medrano’s Hellaverse a healthy form of escapism in this decade [27] [83]. [69]
For the third before the next Nintendo Direct airs [46], let us discuss how the next chapter that is more likely to be a direct successor to New Horizons than a spin-off game based on Animal Island can excel [57] [58]. [58]
Another main reason for being able to expand an island could be experiencing the Northern and Southern Hemisphere climates on the same island but in different parts of it [3], as about as logical as the different climates of the four resorts on Kawawii Island not affecting one another in Go Vacation as that sounds [22] [34] [35]. Furthermore, the Northern Hemisphere seasons would apply to the North, Northwest and Northeast parts of the island and the Southern Hemisphere seasons would apply to the South, Southwest and Southeast [40]. Reflecting on how the aspects of roaming through a city from New Leaf and Happy Home Designer can return in the next game [90] [91], I am up for a school like the one from Happy Home Designer in a new customisable interpretation of Main Street [38] [69], but perhaps it can seem more like a community college class and possibly a building consisting of a dormitory and a lounge next to it, which would be quite like how I made my three-storey cabin in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp a university with a classroom, a lounge and a dormitory sometime before its closure [41] [54]. There can also be a fairground with a merry-go-round in the Northwest, Northeast or Central part of the island for a reason that will be explained later. Right now, I can only dream of expanding my own island in New Horizons [40].
Just imagine being able to choose the layout for the North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West and Northwest expansions of your island like this [3]. I know the different hemisphere seasons on one island sounds illogical, but Zootopia got away with different climates in one big city, right [102]? Since New Horizons only has one grass and snow pattern type [40], perhaps the others from the previous titles can return alongside two new star and hexagon grass types and a new triangle snow type as selectable options [39] [42] [68], thus increasing customisation. The same can apply to the island’s native fruit. Imagine your island’s native fruit being green apples [90] [91]! [3]
Upgrades for Nook’s Cranny ought to return to make up for how uninspired the only upgrade in New Horizons seems as just an expanded version of Nook’s Cranny run by Timmy and Tommy [40] [73] [78]. Could there be a fifth incarnation that is bigger and more enriched than Nookington’s as a rehash of T&T Emporium from New Leaf featuring Leif and Gracie [72] [78]? On the second paw, that might be a separate store in the Main Street as a new equivalent of GracieGrace from City Folk run by a new member of the Nook family who will be explained later [39]. There ought to be a small shop in the Central part an animal crosser would start on, right? [72]

Let us reflect on how the flora can bloom in new ways. Aside from how I would like to see green apples in the next chapter [90] [91], the fertilising of trees to make fruit grow immediately from Pocket Camp might as well return [41], especially for animal crossers you want to sell more fruit for more bells. The same could apply to flower sprouts and buds to make them bloom faster. I am also up for the infamous star tree mod in New Horizons that got some animal crossers banned from online play becoming a completely intentional new feature during nighttime on the developer’s behalf for the next chapter so that there will be no need for hacking the game to relive the star tree phase and there can be a harmonious balance between a fan’s satisfaction and full legality [1] [13] [28] [79]. Reflecting on the possibility of flowers from previous titles making a comeback [90] [91], I suspect that the blue cosmos from the first generation of the franchise can also return alongside the coral, yellow-blue and red-blue pansies from Pocket Camp [41] [59] [66]. Nonetheless, there may only be room for completely new flowers, such as purple lilies, pink pansies and blue tulips to grow [90] [91]. Both old and new ways to grow a garden or forest can provide the fun of nurturing flora in the next Animal Crossing game.
Chances are that the honey, throw net and fertilisers will be left to Pocket Camp Complete [41] [54]. On a lighter note, some fish, bugs and flowers that did not appear in New Horizons can return in the next chapter [90] [91] [92] [93]. Additionally, perhaps banana trees can return, especially for all the monkey and gorilla villagers [67]. Bananas, grapes and lemons returning can result in stylish new items to craft and tasty new recipes to devour [40] [56] [67]. Oh! And do not forget about a toilet being an essential part of a room in an animal crosser’s house for a reason [26] [29] [32]! [Williams, 2019]
And yes, let bell trees grow in the next chapter as well [74]. Perhaps an animal crosser can grow Poki trees too after a successor to Happy Home Paradise gets installed [70], as crazier as that sounds. [74]
Reflecting on the possible return of minigames from New Leaf [25], could there be some completely new ones to give the next chapter on the Switch 2 a little more individuality? Perhaps there can be a 16-bit style minigame based on Animal Island and Dōubutsu no Morie+: Doubutsu-tachi to Asobou!, especially for handheld mode for all the 2000s kids and teens who fondly remember playing them back in the day [57] [58] [63]. Considering that certain Famicom/Nintendo Entertainment System classics were only obtainable and playable in Population Growing [4], another new minigame can be an Animal Crossing-themed parody of Donkey Kong in 8-bit graphics [43]. A fairground consisting of a merry-go-round and some other rides and attractions may provide a few other minigames possibly inspired by certain minigames in Wii Party, the City Resort in Go Vacation or Detective Barbie in The Mystery of the Carnival Caper [31] [34] [35] [53]. Considerably, some new minigames in the next Animal Crossing game can be more exciting than guessing if a card drawn is higher or lower or if its suit is red or black in New Horizons [40], but chances are that minigames will be in an update or DLC pack and at least one or two minigames from New Leaf ought to be part of a compilation [25].
Maybe not every area of the evolving island needs a minigame, but as previously stated, it would be convenient to feature a successor to the Desert Island Escape minigame from amiibo Festival and New Leaf – Welcome amiibo, especially in the South, Southwest or Southeast and one or two others can be at a hotel in an expansion of the Main Street [38] [60]. [60]
Perhaps the parodies of a few NES games, such as Donkey Kong, Ice Climber, Punch Out!! and Wario’s Woods can be played in an arcade at the hotel [4]. Who knows? [4]

It would be swell to see a few new villagers based on characters from beloved Nintendo franchises aside from those based on certain stars from the Splatoon and The Legend of Zeldagames who debuted in Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, including Wolf Link from Twilight Princess, Medli from The Wind Waker and the Squid Sisters known as “Callie” and “Marie” [19] [87] [92] [93]. As previously mentioned, one example could be a lazy or cranky penguin based on King Dedede from the Kirby games [48] [49] [50] [51] [52] [92] [93]. Another could be a peppy deer or bear cub based on Princess Daisy from the Super Mario franchise [45]. Could there be a normal monkey based on Pauline, Mario’s ex-girlfriend or a jock monkey based on Diddy Kong [45] [98] [99]? If so, a new gorilla villager might as well be based on Funky Kong [45]. A new jock bird, eagle or chicken can be based on Falco from the Star Foxgames or Captain Falcon from the F-Zero series [48] [49] [50] [51] [52]. Surely, there ought to be plenty of room for establishing brand new villagers with two new personalities and some of those who only appeared in Dōubutsu no Mori e+ making a grand return [90] [91] [92] [93], as well as the most popular villagers remaining part of the overall experience [11] [12] [36] [37], but new friends based on several other characters from other Nintendo franchises can make an appearance in an update or a DLC pack [92] [93].
Let us not forget about the villager based on Epona [64]! Blitzo from Helluva Boss would love her [5]! Oh, and do not forget about Felyne. He was part of a crossover with the Monster Hunter series [65]. [64].

Sunny being a normal frog made her more adorable exclusively in Dōubutsu no Mori e+ [71]. I am not the only one who would love to see her and a few other villagers who only appeared in the definitive first-generation game, such as Fruity and Madam Rosa return in the next chapter [86] [87] [92] [93]. [71]
Could there be a new special character aside from some possible further character development for those from previous instalments? As an alternative to either Orville or Wilbur having the hots of Pelly [92] [93], a new purple pelican could be a new secret admirer for her, but the feelings for him would be from Phyllis instead as some new character development for her that will spice up the love chain and form the triangle into a square [88]. Moreover, he could be Pete’s brother, as surprising as that sounds as the fact that Mickey Mouse has a sister named “Amelia” [77]. K.K. Slider is a talented solo artist, but I think he could benefit from performing in a band. Moreover, his bandmates can be a drummer, a bass player and a female lead singer who sings with him and there might as well be some backstory on how they met in a new manga, even if that would only be published exclusively in Japan like most Animal Crossing manga [90] [91]. As previously theorised, Vicious Vole Vinnie, the cousin of Sonny and Don Resetti could finally be seen as a new antagonist…who eventually gets arrested by Copper [90] [91] [92] [93]. A few new special characters and their roles would be some highlights of a new generation for the upcoming successor [46] [55], but right now, we can only speculate.
[As unimaginative as this sounds, I suspect that Tom Nook could have a younger sister named “Tammy” or “Tilly” who runs a bigger shop that sells pricier items in the Main Street (and has a Fortune aspiration [17]). [62]

Aside from the possibility of K.K. joining a band, why not let DJ KK onto the stage sometimes to acknowledge his credibility as a solo artist [61]? [61]
For now, let us imagine the new Animal Crossing game on the Switch 2 being titled “Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2” with a mint green or emerald green version of the “New Horizons” tag with a Number Two to especially make up for the cancellation of Animal Crossing 2 that could have brought features that were exclusively in Dōubutsu no Mori e+” to the West [86] [92] [93] [94] [95]. Alternatively, it can be titled “Animal Crossing: Gather” in North America and “Animal Forest: New Horizons” in Japan as a quirky title swap for the next big step [3]. Either can always be considered a working title. Aside from a new Animal Crossing game that can help animal crossers cope during troubles they may experience in real life and on social media, such as sexism [6] [7] [8], transphobia or any other form of mental harm [14] [15] [18] [23] [33], there are also the possibilities of a direct follow-up to Sonic Frontiers and a well-deserved sequel to Princess Peach: Showtime! that will introduce new transformations for the Princess of Mushroom Kingdom [47] [79] [80] [82] [96] [97], as well as high hopes for the tenth generation of the Pokémon franchise on the forthcoming successor to the Switch [21], even though it is all too easy to wish to relive the simpler times during a decade ago or two [2] [16].
Aside from the next main Mario Kart title [55], what awaits us in the Switch 2 era [46] [55]? Could Luigi be the next president [30]? Will King Dedede learn to play the piano…with a jackhammer [85]? It will not be long until Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 premieres on the 2nd of April [46]. [55]

If I did not start blogging back in October 2017 [89], I would not be where I am today [9] [10]. As always, I thank each and every reader, including my subscribers on WordPress for their support throughout the years. Moreover, I have decided to enhance my writing skills by further studying the aspects of screenwriting [20] [75] [76]. Lastly, be sure to wish New Horizons a happy 5th anniversary after wishing all the good women you know, including the lovely trans women a splendid International Women's Day [3] [40]! [Williams, 2018]

Dreaming Of Newer Horizons In Animal Crossing For The Nintendo Switch 2

For Christmas, I got the OLED model of the Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe installed within a bundle, along with Princess Peach: Showtime! and Animal Crossing: New Horizons [52] [55] [57] [58]. I adore New Horizons for its evolutionary take on the overall Animal Crossing experience as there have been several satisfactory results throughout my island’s gradual growth [52]. It is also deeply appreciated for being a form of escapism during the troubling times of the lockdowns throughout the coronavirus pandemic [60]. Many Nintendo nerds are wondering how a future Animal Crossing game could top the excellence of New Horizons that has enchanted them for five years and speculations about its likely development for the Nintendo Switch 2 have been circulating for quite some time [49] [59]. Since there are animal crossers who prefer New Leaf over New Horizons for fair reasons though [9] [42], I believe that the next chapter can provide a balance of both games’ most favourable qualities, possibly along with a few aspects from the first and second generations and notable elements from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete [53]. And yes, there ought to be some brand new aspects as well to enlighten many curious animal crossers. Moreover, let us discuss how the next Animal Crossing game can excel.
As hazbeans are in love with a new line of Valentine’s Day-themed Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss merchandise and Poké players are turning into the second season of Pokémon Horizons on Netflix [38] [47] [90], animal crossers are dreaming of what could be a combination of their favourite aspects of Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: New Horizons [52]. [62]
Since crafting is one of the engaging elements of New Horizons that made it recommendable to fans of Minecraft [1] [85], there could be some new things to craft on a DIY bench in its successor [52]. One of them can be the throw net from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete for catching more than one fish [4] [53]. Another could be honey from the two versions of the app for capturing a bunch of insects after a beehive falls from a shaken tree and gets picked up after an attack or an escape [2] [53]. As for the tools, a big part of me would like them to break a little less often but not be completely indestructible to maintain the purpose of crafting in the next Animal Crossing game [1] [52]. There can also be some new recipes to brew and chow down on, such as a chocolate bar that requires cocoa beans, milk and sugar to be made and sushi for sushi lovers, such as yours truly. As well as new things to craft in a direct follow-up to New Horizons for the Switch 2 [59], the ways to capture a bunch of bugs and a small swarm of fish from Pocket Camp might as well be rendered and programmed outside of modern mobile gaming [53].
Here is my sweet little red-nosed starlet pouring honey into the stump before capturing a bunch of bugs in the original version of Pocket Camp back in 2018 [53]. [Williams, 2018]
At least the flimsy tools in New Horizons are not as aggravatingly fragile as the appliances and furniture in the house in The Sims Mobile [31] [52]. [1]

Some flower breeders would love to see new flower combinations, such as blue mums and purple lilies [67]. I think the violets and carnations can return to make up for their absence in New Horizons [52]. The same can apply to the Sun cosmos from Wild World but in a striking yellow-orange shade [34] [81]. Dandelions can also return, especially the orange ones from Pocket Camp [53] [67]. Speaking of Pocket Camp, perhaps some special flowers from the seasonal events animal crossers participated in can return in a successor to New Horizons but seasonally. An example of this would be apple, peach and plum lollipoppies from Jack’s Halloween Hunt back in late 2018 for every Halloween [5] [53]. I also think there should be trees that grow bright green apples instead of red ones as another brand new example of flora. Aside from that, the gold trees from Animal Crossing: Population Growing can return in the more realistic style from New Leaf and New Horizons [83]. Aside from new examples of floral flair and some older ones from previous titles, it is imperative that certain controversy regarding the grass in City Folk is not repeated as the option to build paths with a construction kit in New Horizons is so much better than making tracks unintentionally [12] [14] [52].
What could be next? Blue tulips? Pink pansies? Silver roses? [67]

Do you not suppose the next chapter for the Switch 2 would bring back dead trees from New Leaf, no [83]? [83]
Another notable feature in New Horizons is browsing apps on your NookPhone [52] [100] [101]. In a successor to New Horizons for the Switch 2, a new NookPhone design ought to consist of about two or three outer cameras to keep up to date with smartphones in real life [11]. The customisation phone case kit also ought to consist of some more colours and patterns for the device (and the same can apply to the roof of the player’s house as I miss the stylish hot pink colour from Wild World [54]) [52]. There might as well be a few new apps that can be unlocked by redeeming a certain amount of NookMiles. Speaking of NookMiles, the reward system ought to make a comeback for the sake of satisfying the player after they perform certain tasks [100] [101]. Believe it or not, perhaps new services, such as a journalism website that differs from various mentioned publications can be exclusively accessed on a laptop called a “Nooktop” an animal crosser’s avatar can use in their house [73]. Trust me, I can imagine such a thing since I am a MacBook user nowadays. New Horizons is definitely considered a “modern” take on the overall Animal Crossing experience [52], but as previously mentioned, there might as well be some familiarity for those who prefer New Leaf [9].
Can you imagine browsing applications and websites on a laptop in the Animal Crossing universe [53]? [Williams, 2018]
One gripe I have with Animal Crossing: New Horizons is that there appears to be no way to expand your island like how your ranch in My Pokémon Ranch gets expanded on the day after a certain number of Pokémon being cared for in it is reached [56]. In its follow-up for the Switch 2 [59], I think the player can start with the central part of their island and at certain points throughout the game’s progression, there will be an option to expand the island in any of eight directions. For example, the North part of the island can be for a Main Street like the city in City Folk, the Main Street in New Leaf or the one in Happy Home Designer [3] [50] [51], but customisable. Another could be the East consisting of a campsite and a cabin in the wilderness as a rehash of Pocket Camp [53]. The Southwest could be a rehash of Tortimer Island from New Leaf and the Southeast could provide a sequel to the Desert Island Escape minigame from Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival [16]. This could give the game an open-world element, but not as big as the setting in Grand Theft Auto V [86]. The map in the HUD would need to indicate which part of the island the player is strolling in and there can be a minigame in every single one of them [16] [52].
The Central part of the island may consist of an airport and a plaza quite like the one from Animal Crossing Plaza but with the town hall [64]. Perhaps the player can travel to the desired location by a vehicle, such as a car or a motorbike to get to the desired location more efficiently, according to a certain rumour that was discussed nearly a year ago [49]. [64]
Notable shops from New Leaf can brought back for the Main Street in a successor to New Horizons [3] [70]. Labelle and Kicks can sell in shops again. The Northeast part of the island can be the ideal expansion of the city to consist of a few other minigames to play with either animals staying at a hotel or your fellow animal crossers in a more effective multiplayer experience [16] [52]. [70]
What other ways can a follow-up to New Horizons honour the legacy of New Leaf? It would be cool to send letters that play music, dress a mannequin, visit special characters’ RVs and discover unique designs on tree stumps again [42]. Reflecting on the suggestion of some new services on a Nooktop, perhaps petitions from New Leaf can make a comeback on a petition website that can be accessed on it. Perfect fruits could also make a comeback, which makes me imagine the perfect green apple to snack on after letting it fall from an apple tree. Speaking of trees, the Town Tree can be grown once again in the plaza set in the central part of the island [64]. The police station could return for a reason that will be explained later [77]. Lastly, I would be thrilled if my avatar can wear a Mii mask again [42] [51]. Not every feature in New Leaf that is absent in New Horizons has to return as leaving some in the days of New Leaf would help the game maintain what was greatly considered such renovation at the time of its successful sales [9] [42], but as previously mentioned, plenty of returning features combined with the greatness of New Horizons can make a new chapter on the Switch 2 undeniably faithful to both renovations [52] [59].
New Leaf is technically not considered a new leaf anymore but some of why it is favoured over New Horizons can be renewed for the next chapter for the Switch 2 [9] [42] [52]. [77]
Aside from the possibility of the villagers based on various characters from two other Nintendo franchises returning [16], as unlikely as that sounds, perhaps a few brand new characters could be:
  •       A snooty octopus with a fishing hobby [80]
  •       A snooty bear with a walking-around hobby [80]
  •       A normal tiger with a fitness hobby [75]
  •       A normal duck [7] [75]
  •       A cranky sheep with a fashion hobby [66]
  •       A peppy alligator [76]
  •       A jock kangaroo [68]
  •       A lazy wolf with a music hobby [71]
  •       A sisterly tiger with a nature hobby [65]
  •       A smug monkey with a fashion hobby [79]
Surely, some animal crossers prefer the rudeness you will encounter in Population Growing [39] [40], but the tenderness of those you befriend in the game is a big part of the escapism a Nintendo nerd would cherish, especially during some hard times in real life [52] [53]. However, there could be two new personalities aside from the portrayals of the villagers being more realistically balanced with rude reactions being consequences for misdeeds, such as whacking them with a net [16]. Perhaps the two new personalities can be “Studious” for male villagers who are intelligent with a fondness of reading and learning about various topics and “Creative” for female villagers who are imaginative and express their interests in writing and other art forms. It can always be the other way round when it comes to portraying new villagers as intelligence and creativity are not determined by one’s gender.
Ummm…I think it would be best to leave the sass and roasting to Daxter from the Jak & Daxter games [24] [25] [26] [27] [28] [29]. [39]

In my headcanon, Eugene is my avatar’s boyfriend due to how he resembles my real-life fiancé and Cookie is her sister’s best friend [50] [51] [52] [53]. And of course, we know that Mitzi is PeanutButterGamer’s on-and-off girlfriend in his headcanon [37]. [Williams, 2021]
A new event to be celebrated in a new Animal Crossing title for the Switch can be called “Pride Day” for a reason [33]. Some animal crossers, including yours truly have suspected that Celeste could be a lesbian due to her reactions to being called “adorable” by the player, depending on their gender [30] [51] [54]. It can be implied that Gracie is transgender due to how she is a male in the Japanese and South Korean versions of the games [96] [97]. However, it is important to not assume that a crossdresser is transgender solely because of their interest in crossdressing [98] [99], yet some crossdressers may come out as transgender later in life, which turned out to be the case for Cara Cunningham, formerly known as “Chris Crocker” [88]. And yes, it has been revealed that Isabelle is pansexual as she seems to have a crush on the player, regardless of their gender in New Leaf [87]. In a “Pride Day” event, she can ask the player about their attraction in a kid-friendly way and remind them that there is no shame in it whatsoever. There is nothing wrong with encouraging tolerance towards homosexuality, multisexuality and transgenderism in a video game and it is possible to do so without catering to “wokeness”, as annoying as using that term as a scapegoating buzzword has become, which is better off left in the first half of the 2020s [95].
Establishing a celebration of pride in support of LGBTQIA+ rights is not being toxically political and it is not “propaganda” in the slightest. It is integrity to fight bigotry [6] [13] [15] [33] [43]. [94]
Aside from certain special characters celebrating their pride in a new event, what about some others? Cooper could return as a police officer for some good old first-generation time’s sake [37] [77], warning the player about forged paintings and perhaps arresting Redd after some forgery is exposed [51] [52]. Justice needs to be served for those who have been conned, right? The monthly raffles from Population Growing can return but be run by Timmy and Tommy to somehow fuse two eras of Nook’s business together [37] [52]. As aggravatingly sour Resetti was in Population GrowingWild World and City Folk when it came to scolding you for resetting [48] [51] [54], he could play the more respectable role as the groundhog on Groundhog Day, just like how he did in Population Growing [41], but perhaps alongside his brother Don playing the role as well [48] [51] [54]. Sometimes, I wonder if Katie, the kitten who eventually became an independent traveller in New Leaf also has a father and a sibling [69], so perhaps some new special characters can be a younger brother for her named “Kaleb” and a father for them named “Kane”, “Kingston” or “Kaden”. There are some opportunities to bring some special characters back to their roots for old times’ sake and further expand on the lives of others in a new chapter.
Can you imagine this sly fox getting arrested [78]? It would be the opposite of Sly Cooper escaping Carmelita Fox’s attempts at arresting him [89]. [78]

Katie’s independence in New Leaf is an impressive sign of character development, but perhaps she can invite her mother along with her for a special mother and daughter’s day out at some point in the next chapter for the Switch 2 [53] [69]. [Williams, 2018]
Is there anything else that could make a new chapter worthy of cherishing? There might as well be references to the main characters of the manga series that is mostly exclusive to animal crossers in Japan [72]. Perhaps they could be on a collage of memories on a wall at Tortimer’s island resort [82]? As for the museum, I would love to see a secondary art gallery of paintings designed by no other than the player, which would be like how a simmer can make their own painting in Strangetown Hotel’s art gallery in the DS version of The Sims 2 [32] [92] [93]. It has been recently hinted that there will be a successor to NookLink for a successor to New Horizons [17] [45] [74]. Lastly, reflecting on the positive impact the Happy Home Paradise expansion pack for New Horizons has left [63], there could be a successor to it for the next chapter on the Switch 2 and perhaps another pack providing a new addition to the lore [59]. Aside from the same functionality with an application that provides some bonuses and more features in the game for the player and possibly more than one expansion pack, there might as well be another great way to display some artistry besides displaying professional fashion designs at Able Sisters, displaying them at home, placing them on the ground or changing the island’s flag [51] [52] [54].
Apart from the protagonists of the manga series making a cameo [72], imagine a rehash of Tortimer Island in different climates aside from Summer [16] [82]. [82]

Aside from a successor to Happy Home Paradise for the successor to New Horizons [63], a second expansion pack can provide a great addition to the series’ lore, such as an underwater village where the player’s avatar can swim through and befriend shark villagers as a mermaid or merboy [8] [10] [35]. Speaking of an addition to the lore, simmers will get down to business, especially in small venues with an expansion pack titled “The Sims 4: Businesses & Hobbies” this March [91] [102] [103]. [63]
In conclusion, the next chapter in the Animal Crossing series ought to consist of the best of New Leaf and New Horizons [42] [52], as well as notable gameplay elements of Pocket Camp and some brand new enlightenments, such as a “Pride Day” celebration and an island that grows in all eight directions [94]. Not every feature from the previous games that is absent in New Horizons has to return in a new chapter as the top priority would be to assure an ambitious and fully functional experience without any aggravating technical issues [9] [42] [52], but with enough focus on new features added to the same positive impact on mental health, especially after someone gives you a hard time by being utterly inconsiderate [18] [19] [20] [21] [22] [23], a successor to New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch 2 can help the forthcoming system sell quite successfully alongside many other excellent games, especially the next title in the Mario Kart series [59]. Could another example be a soft reboot of Dr. Robotnik And His Mean Bean Machine that is also a crossover with Puyo Puyo for a reason [104] [105]?  In the meantime, keep expressing and increasing your creative potential as no amount of toxicity should take your sense of self-worth away from you [36] [44] [46] [84].
If you happen to be a fellow animal crosser, feel free to tell me what you would like to see in a new chapter of the Animal Crossing franchise for the Switch 2 [59]. Chances are that it will be released in 2026 or at some other point in the second half of the 2020s [49] [61]. [3]
